The Body Awareness Toolkit

Body Awareness Toolkit

A gentle introduction to listening differently.

Your body is communicating with you all the time.

Through sensation, breath, movement, emotion, tension, ease, and the subtle shifts we may not always have words for.

The Body Awareness Toolkit is an introduction to becoming more familiar with that communication.

It will help you explore the felt sense, understand simple practices such as titration and pendulation, and learn ways to support yourself if something becomes uncomfortable during meditation or body-awareness work.

Inside you'll find:

  • Simple grounding practices to help you return to the present.

  • An introduction to the felt sense, titration, and pendulation.

  • Guidance for responding when a sensation or emotion becomes uncomfortable.

  • Female and male body maps for expressing what you notice through colour, words, shapes, or marks.

  • Reflection prompts to help you listen to what is still present after a practice.

  • Support for returning to your day feeling grounded and present.

You can use the toolkit alongside recorded meditations, as a companion to 1:1 or group work, or simply when you want to spend a little time listening to your body.

Over time, you may begin to recognise more of its language: how it communicates, what asks for your attention, and how you can respond.
